张云燕律师1998年通过律师资格考试，开始从事专职律师工作。执业以来成功代理了千余件国内外诉讼、商事仲裁以及重大投资和资本市场项目，长期为各级政府、金融机构、国际、国内大型企业，上市公司等提供法律服务。其代理的相关案件被最高人民法院收入《最高人民法院商事审判指导案例》；经办的涉外项目入选中华全国律师协会《涉外案例精选》和“上海市首批十大涉外投资法律服务经典案例”《上海涉外法律服务精选案例汇编》。

现担任最高人民检察院民事行政案件咨询专家，中国政法大学仲裁研究院兼职研究员，中国国际商会调解中心、新加坡国际调解中心、香港国际仲裁中心、上海国际仲裁中心、上海仲裁委员会等十家仲裁机构仲裁员。上海律协外事委委员、一带一路业务研究委员会副主任，上海市企业法律顾问协会特聘专家委员，上海市安徽商会副会长，华东政法大学在职法律硕士代课教师，上海政法学院法律硕士（涉外律师）培养项目代课教师。先后担任安徽丰原生物化学股份有限公司(丰原生化)、安徽四创电子股份有限公司、安徽省皖能股份有限公司、安徽海螺水泥股份有限公司、江西长运股份有限公司的独立董事；华安证券内核组成员。

Educational background

Chris Zhang holds a PhD in Finance from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; LLM (Current Reading Candidate) from William & Mary Law School, U.S.; Doctor of Management (Current Reading Candidate) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Master of Business Administration from University of Science & Technology of China; Master of Economic Law from Anhui University.

Chris passed the bar exam in 1998 and then practiced as a full-time lawyer. She has successfully represented clients in more than 1,000 domestic and foreign litigation, commercial arbitration, major investment and capital market projects. For many years, she has provided long-term legal services for governments, financial institutions, international and domestic large enterprises, listed companies, etc. The cases she acted in included commercial trials before the Supreme People's Court. The foreign-related projects she lead has been recored in the Selection of Foreign-related Cases and the First Batch of Ten Classic Cases of Shanghai Foreign-related Investment.

Currently serving as an Advisory Expert for Civil Administrative Cases of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Adjunct Researcher of Institute of Arbitration of China University of Political Science & Law, and arbitrator for ten arbitration institutions including Mediation Center of China Chamber of International Commerce, Singapore International Mediation Center, Hong Kong International Arbitration Center, Shanghai International Arbitration Center and Shanghai Arbitration Commission. Member of Foreign Affairs Committee of Shanghai Lawyers Association, deputy director of Belt and Road Business Research Committee, distinguished expert committee member of Shanghai Enterprise Legal Advisors Association, vice president of Anhui Chamber of Commerce, substitute teacher for Juris Master of East China University of Political Science and Law, and substitute teacher for Juris Master (foreign-related lawyers) training program of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. She serves as an independent director of Anhui Fengyuan Biochemical Co., Ltd., Anhui Sichuang Electronics Co., Ltd., Anhui Aneng Co., Ltd., Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Changyun Co., Ltd., and as a member of the internal assessment group of Hua'an Securities Co., Ltd.

Based on her outstanding achievements in foreign-related legal services, Chris has been awarded "Personal Merit, Class III by Lawyer" and "Leading Talents of China Foreign-related Lawyers" by All China Lawyers Association. Chris was nominated for "Best Dispute Resolution in China" by China Law and Practice in 2017. In 2019, Chris was elected as "Top 20 Preferred Lawyers for Chinese Clients in 2019" by ALB, “Outstanding Professional Lawyer of the Year 2019” in the 70th Anniversary of the New China and 40th Anniversary of the Restoration and Reconstruction of China's Lawyer System in China Law Almanac. Also, she was elected as "2020 and 2021 The A-List Legal Elite" by Business Law Magazine, Gold Medal for Service of Global Small and Medium Enterprise Association, and the Best Corporate Lawyer 2021 by APAC Insider; "2020 ALB China Top 15 Female Lawyers”.
